FAQ'S

Is there a minimum order for custom colors? There is no minimum order for digital printing, a ten-roll minimum for screen printing and a 750-yard minimum for gravure printing.  We charge a small set-up fee for all custom orders and require a color chip for matching.

How are your rolls packaged? For digital printing, rolls are packaged in 54” wide bolts and are untrimmed. There will be overlap and bleed built into the artwork, which will require trimming on site. Most patterns are reverse-hung. For screen printing, all rolls are packaged in either single, double or triple rolls. Most rolls are untrimmed.

What happens if I receive damaged wallpaper? We pride ourselves in our excellent  quality control but all wallcovering must be inspected upon receipt and prior to hanging. Improper or prolonged storage under adverse conditions could potentially damage the goods. If you receive material that is unusable or damaged in any way, we must be notified within 14 days of receipt so your order may be replaced. We are not responsible for material that has been installed.

What kinds of materials do you use: Jill Malek patterns are printed on BOTH Traditional clay-coated PAPER, as well as TYPE II TEXTURED VINYLS + MYLARS. All RUGS are hand-woven with a cotton, wool + sari silk blend. Because sari silk is a natural product, each rug is special and unique. Please expect some variation within each piece ordered.

How long does it take to receive my order? Please allow an average of 2-4 weeks for delivery. Most wallcoverings are drop-shipped using ups ground. DHL EXPRESS is used for international orders. Rug orders are drop-shipped from India.

How can I tell how the non-repeating digital motifs will look in my space? If you provide elevations or photos of your space, we are happy to send you a mock-up of how your desired pattern will look in the space. We do not proceed to printing until layouts are approved in writing.

Do you have a return policyDue to the custom nature of JILL MALEK RUGS AND WALLCOVERINGS, all sales are final. Please notify us within 14 days upon order delivery, only if your product is damaged or defective in any way.

Do your non-repeating wall-coverings have a match?  Even if a pattern does not repeat, it will always match unless specifically stated that it’s match is random. It is the responsibility of your installer to ensure that the artwork matches and is trimmed properly. We are not responsible for hanging.

If I choose to use felt in my wall-covering, how does my installer attach it?  Your order will arrive fully ready to hang by your installer. Our commercial-grade felt can be immersed in water and easily trimmed on site. It is hand-sewn onto the wallcovering and will be delivered fully affixed. While the material can withstand moisture on site, you should refrain from excessive glue when pasting the material.

Can you convert your screen-printed rolls to vinyl? Yes. Depending on the quantity and colorway, there may be small variations to the conversion. We will work with you to arrive at the best solution to create a beautiful piece.

Whom do I call for customer service? Jill makes herself available to respond to calls and have direct contact with her clients.
